Field Grown Ornamental Grasses, Dried Floral Arrangements, Nursery & Flower Farm

Located in north central Kansas, Grassland Gardens is an ornamental grass nursery and a dried flower farm. In spring, over 50 varieties of ornamental grasses are available. The majority of these ornamental grasses are field grown here at the farm. Harvesting of dried flowers begins in May and continues throughout the summer until the first autumn frost. Over 50 varieties of dried flowers, grasses and grains are grown, harvested, and preserved at Grassland Gardens.

Although we are a working nursery & farm, a visit to Grassland Gardens is much more. Stroll our labeled butterfly & hummingbird, herb, and mixed border gardens. Walk through the dried flower & ornamental grass production beds. See our flowers drying and visit our dried floral design shop complete with customized dried flower arrangements, garden art & gifts. Relax under the pergola or on one of our conveniently located park benches and let all your senses be filled with the sites, sounds, and fragrances of nature. All of this is nestled among native cottonwoods and prairie grasses on a gently rolling landscape.

From 81/24 Junction in north-central Kansas: Go 3 miles east on 24 Highway. Look for Grassland Gardens sign on south side of highway. Go south 1 mile on gravel road (170th Rd) and turn 3/10 mile east on hardtop (Camp Road). Look for Grasslands Gardens sign at first driveway to the North.
